Nhung Nguyen is the CEO of Horizon Legacy, where she is transforming a seven-decade-old company into a leader in construction technology and robotics. Nhung has over 15 years of experience developing complex infrastructure projects valued at $150M and supported Horizon Legacy's pioneering move into renewable energy development. She holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa, studied Environmental Management at Harvard University, and has experience with autonomous underwater vehicles. Under her leadership, Horizon Legacy is building the first and largest neighborhood in Canada using on-site robotics, a testament to her vision to integrate robotic technology with construction. Nhung is a contributor to the Construction Automation and Robotics R&D roadmap for Canada and has spearheaded groundbreaking initiatives, including the creation of Canada’s first Construction Automation Lab, facilitating collaboration between industry, academia, and government to advance construction technologies. Nhung is passionate about leveraging robotics to revolutionize the construction industry and address labor shortages. She believes technology can inspire young people to rediscover a love for building, transforming the industry and creating a new path for the next generation.
