Nhung Nguyen

Nhung Nguyen is the CEO of Horizon Legacy, where she is transforming a seven-decade-old real estate and construction company into a leader in construction technology and robotics. She brings over 15 years of experience delivering complex infrastructure projects and supported Horizon Legacy’s pioneering move into renewable energy development. Nhung holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa and studied Environmental Management at Harvard University. Under her leadership, Horizon Legacy is building the first and largest neighborhood in Canada and the world’s largest Indigenous housing project using on-site robotics. She has been a contributor to Canada’s Construction Automation and Robotics R&D Roadmap, is a founding member of the Construction Technology Committee under the Canadian Robotics Council, and established Canada’s first Construction Automation Lab—a platform facilitating collaboration between industry, academia, and government to advance construction technologies. Nhung is passionate about leveraging robotics to revolutionize the construction industry and address labor shortages. She believes technology can inspire young people to rediscover a love for building, transforming the industry and creating a new path for the next generation.
