The Gananoque council approved a new residential development by Horizon Legacy on 425 Fourth Street, which will feature 26 stacked townhouse units. Eight of these units will be designated as affordable housing, in compliance with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation’s definition of affordable housing. Servicing has been completed, and construction will begin in June, offering long-term rental opportunities for a mix of bachelor, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units.
